Aquamation
Aquamation
While Aquamation, also known as Alkaline Hydrolysis, is not yet permitted in British Columbia, it offers a gentle and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional cremation. This process uses a water-based solution and alkaline compounds to break down the body into its basic elements, avoiding the use of fossil fuels and reducing environmental impact.
At Earth’s Option, we believe Aquamation represents the future of sustainable end-of-life care. We are actively involved in raising awareness and working with regulatory bodies to help make this option available in our province. To follow our ongoing efforts and learn more, please visit our blog.
